The Harrisonburg Retail Store has an immediate internal opening for a Retail Sales Manager. This is the perfect position for someone looking to grow their career with Crutchfield and is passionate, ready to collaborate, lead, and give their best every day. The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales in the Retail Store through close work with all retail staff and direct supervision of the Product Advisor team. Store hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm and Sundays 12pm-5pm. Essential Job Duties:
Manage the performance of a team.
Drive sales in the retail store.
Effectively merchandise inventory on the sales floor.
Train new hire Product Advisors and Customer Service Associates.
Assess ongoing training needs of the sales team and provide training as needed.
Opening and closing of the retail store.
Act as manager on duty to ensure all customers in the store have been assisted.
Filling in as needed in all aspects of the retail store including warehouse and installation.
Adhering to store policies and making decisions on when to make exceptions to them.
Work closely with other company departments to accomplish the objectives of the store such as IT, Creative, Accounting and HR.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of consumer electronic or the ability to quickly learn
Solid written and verbal communication skills and an ability to understand people, troubleshoot problems and help store employees collaborate as necessary.
Ability to direct and coach sales staff by ensuring employees have the resources necessary to do their jobs efficiently.
Effective time management skills
Ability to solve problems using a calm demeanor
Proficiency in MS Office applications, ability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements: Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, occasional lifting, bending and crouching as needed to help in warehouse and installation operations.
